When I first saw that picture, I could only think it was a group of Russian friends enjoying themselves, but why?. At the time, I couldn’t answer that question, but I do now.
The way they all dress, their skin color, their hats, and the place they’re standing made me think that they might be drinking vodka to keep out the cold. In my mind, this is a typical Russian group of friends. They’re Drinking because is part of their culture. We see happy people maybe singing a traditional song, or an old song from Russia.
I suppose I think in this way because of all the movies that I’ve seen, and all the video games I’ve played always show to the Russian people like hermetic people with foreigners, because of their difficult language, or just because we’re talking about a faraway and cold place. But when they’re with his people, we can see them like a normal persons, laughing with friends and enjoying a drink.
