Russia is a culturally rich country. In Russia we can find many subcultures like punks, hippies, and urban tribes like skinheads who are very radical. Below we can see images and explanations of each of these subcultures.
The punks
Punks are mainly characterized by two things: the way they dress and the music they play. They dress that way because that’s their way of expressing themselves and they love punk rock because it matches their feelings so well.
The hippies
Hippies on the other hand are more serious and calm people, are interested in global issues, believe they can change the world with love and peace and also adore nature. Hippies also listen and play rock to express themselves, but it’s less hardcore rock.
The skinheads
Skinheads are an urban minority tribe in Russia. They take the punk lifestyle to dangerous extremes. They always wear black, and they’re always hairless or have very little hair. They’re extremely patriotic, they hate immigrants, and they can get very violent with them.
